A bit about us…
Ski Weekender from
Karibuni is a well established ski holiday company specialising in weekend and
short break ski and snowboarding holidays, based in the beautiful and
traditional resorts of La Clusaz and Grand Bornand in the French Alps. This
stunning ski area offers over 220km of piste and is still quite a quiet resort
meaning the skiing potential is enormous! All our guests love the resort and
many come back to enjoy it year after year.
We pride ourselves on our very high level of personal service and consequently have a high level of returning guests who love our ‘can do’ attitude as well as the skiing. The majority of our guests comment on the great service they have received whilst on holiday – confirming that our ‘nothing is too much trouble’ attitude is crucial to our customer service approach.
In order that this trend continues we are looking to recruit the very best in winter staff, our standards are very high. In return we will look after you extremely well and ensure you have a fun and memorable winter season.
The package we offer…
All our staff are
offered a good benefits package, including: transport to/from resort at the
beginning and end of the season; a room in a nice apartment and a communal area
in which to relax (not a cramped flat sleeping 6 which some companies
provide!); all meals supplied whilst working; a seasonal lift pass; ski and
boarding equipment; ski travel insurance; discounted bar drinks and a
competitive salary.
A bit about you…
In return we expect
loyal, smiley, cheerful staff; on hand to meet all the guest expectations at
all times. To work for us you must be hardworking, work well as part of a team,
have some experience in the job you are applying for and be prepared to muck in
when needed in all aspects of chalet life.
Ideally we are looking for couples to take a role each, although we will consider single applicants too so please do still apply.
We are looking for the following roles:
- A CHALET HOUSEKEEPER to work with our experienced head
housekeeper maintaining our high standards of cleanliness throughout the
chalet, take a leading role on room changeovers and laundry and to assist with
serving breakfast and dinners on rotation.
- A CHALET HOST / FRONT OF HOUSE SERVICE to take lead
responsibility for the operation of the dining room and behind the scenes, the
serving and clearing of all meals, and hosting the guests during their time in
the lodge
- A personable DRIVER / SKI HOST for duties including airport and local
resort minibus transfers and ski hosting guests safely and professionally on
the mountain. Although this will be the bulk of your work you must also be
happy to do some bar work on rotation
- A SKI TECH / BARMAN who has good ski and board knowledge and is comfortable with a screwdriver; skis to an accomplished level and is happy to ski host a couple of times a week; and someone who will enjoy sociable bar work. You also need to be able to drive to help with inter-resort transfers.
