UK Corporate Weekends - South East
Before falling in love with the French Alps we were based in Reading and therefore
operated a range of team building trips, company away days and corporate events
in and around the South East of England – generally within an hour or so of
London.
With the shift in our focus to the adventure playground of the Alps, we can now only offer a limited range of corporate trips and company events in the UK which we deliver using some experienced and trusted 3rd party suppliers.
Corporate Team Building Locations in the South East
The Chiltern Hills and Berkshire/Buckinghamshire offer some great scenery and wonderful terrain for challenges and team building activities. As well as activities such as mountain biking, walking and orienteering, and climbing, we try and use the beautiful River Thames to add an extra dimension to these corporate trips. For smaller groups we have featured such activities as a river rowing treasure hunt at Henley upon Thames, whilst for larger groups the river is a great base for dragon boating along the famous rowing regatta course.
Henley upon Thames also provides a great base for corporate business meetings as there are some lovely pubs and restaurants for lunch; some of which can provide spacious and well equipped meeting rooms to continue the business aspect of the team away-day out of the office.
Recommended Corporate Activities
The best mountain biking for corporate away days is held in Swinley Forest – very near Bracknell - and is an ideal base for smaller corporate groups as there is a café, meeting rooms, plenty of open space for team building games, facilities and plenty to do during any down time.
There is also a very good High Ropes course in the Chiltern Hills which we recommend as an ideal corporate team activity to build on core strengths such as support, encouragement, patience and overcoming fear (of heights etc) to help each other enjoy the day.
