The Aravis Lodge

Enjoy a truly relaxing break in our fantastic lodge! The Aravis Lodge is a large turn-of-the-century, chalet-style accommodation providing you with great food and a high level of service in spacious and cosy surroundings. Either come on your own, with friends or as part of a large group and enjoy personal service that brings people back year after year.

Our fabulous lodge is located in the heart of the small village of St Jean de Sixt in between the larger nearby villages of La Clusaz and Le Grand Bornand. The village centre is right on our doorstep with its impressive church, post office (with ATM), supermarket, pharmacy, tabac, restaurants and bars and mountain equipment hire shop. St Jean has everything you could need for your stay here.

The atmosphere of the chalet is about people getting on, enjoying the days spent in the mountains and the great company in the evenings. From the moment you arrive at the lodge it's yours - but with the added benefit of great food, high service and someone looking after your every need! This allows people to truly relax and unwind, as your chalet hosts make you feel welcome and remove any hassles. The day starts with a full breakfast and then it's out to have fun in the mountains.

Afternoon tea with fresh cakes will be waiting on your return. A tasty and generous 3-course dinner is the main social event of the evening, with all guests eating together and discussing the day's events out in the mountains. With an in-house bar you'll be able to chat until the small hours if you still have enough energy!

The Lodge is completely non-smoking throughout (even the bar!) Smokers are provided with suitable locations outside the lodge, on the terrace etc.
