Self Catering Chalet Aravis

Chalet Aravis is our quality, spacious 5 bedroomed chalet for self-catered groups of up to 10/11 people.

This spacious and newly refurbished chalet is located just adjacent to our main Aravis Lodge and provides a perfect base for family or friends groups who wish to be independent but enjoy the convenience offered by Chalet Aravis.

You will arrive to find the chalet all ready - with beds made for you, bath and hand towels waiting, and the kitchen stocked with all the essential supplies. You can now relax and start your holiday!

- The kitchen is fully equipped and has all the spices, herbs and condiments that you should require, as well as a stock of the basic food stuffs like pasta, rice, cooking sauces etc. which you are welcome to use on a 'use and replace' basis.

- The bookshelves are filled with English and French books and magazines, and a supply of DVDs - CDs are also available. The lounge has an open fire which can be lit on chilly evenings (wood supplied).

- We have a number of games and toys which can be provided on request and there is a safe car park, terrace and shared garden for playing outside. High chairs plus a cot are available for babies, on request.

- The bedrooms are light and airy with mountain views, but using the shutters at night can provide a very inviting, quiet atmosphere for sleep. All but one bedroom is equipped with its own washbasin.

- There are 3 bathrooms with WC/shower and downstairs features a bath which is perfect for soaking aching limbs, or for bathing children after an active day.

- Centrally located within St Jean de Sixt, just 2 km from the main resorts of La Clusaz and Grand Bornand. Choice of shops, bars, restaurants within 100m.

- Welcome pack full of walks, maps, suggestions of what to do - and Karibuni Team on hand to advise on activities or make reservations. Baby sitting service may be available during the main summer season.

- Chalet Aravis is perfect for self drivers (7.5hrs from Calais) or those hiring a car at Geneva, but we can arrange transfers from the airport if required. Plenty of parking available by the chalet.

- The chalet is operated with a minimal environmental impact and we hope that all guests will join us in this. Your plentiful hot water is provided by a new economical boiler and the next project is fitting solar panels. We have full recycling facilities, composting for foodstuffs and we operate energy and water efficiency processes.

- Prices are based upon the whole chalet for a Saturday to Saturday week and includes all bedding, towels, utilities, taxes etc. The chalet should be available from 3pm on your arrival day and we ask that you depart by 11am on your final day.

- A deposit of 500 euros is required to reserve the chalet, with the balance then due 6 weeks prior to the trip. Payment will be taken by credit card.
