Karibuni is a small independent ski and snowboard chalet operator based in the French Alps, near the village of La Clusaz. Karibuni's winter brand is known as 'SkiWeekender' due to specializing in short break ski holidays. Our chalets are comfortable and homely with a very friendly feel. All rooms are ensuite and we also have big lounges, TV rooms and spacious dining areas as well as a large, well stocked bar and a fully functional ski hire room in our main chalet. The skiing here is excellent with over 220km of pistes. Offering everything from beginner runs to off piste descents, there is something for everyone.

It is essential for our guests to feel cared for and welcome when on holiday with us, whilst knowing that nothing they ask for is too much trouble, and everything will be delivered with a smile! The key to this is our carefully hand-picked Ski Team. Our team are the face of Karibuni and are consequently crucial in maintaining our strong reputation as great holiday providers within the industry.

We pride ourselves on having a friendly crew at Karibuni. Our core team consists of 4 resort reps/managers and a full-time chef couple for our main chalet – the Aravis Lodge. The team represents a mix of ages in a supportive and caring environment. We also have a lot of great guests who return year after year.

Ski Weekender, the winter brand of Karibuni specialises in short breaks – weekends from Thursday evening to Monday evening, or Mid-week from Monday – Thursday. We also offer weeklong Monday – Monday holidays as well. The majority of our guests are adults, although we do provide special family packages for Christmas, New Year and February half term weeks. All our guest packages include transport to and from Geneva airport, ensuite accommodation, breakfast, afternoon tea and 3 course dinner with wine as well as lift passes and ski orientation. We also fit skis on arrival in-house to ensure a maximum service with minimum hassle for our guests. We appreciate that the key to our success is our people, so consequently we try and match the enthusiasm of our staff with a generous benefits package to recognise their hard work. We need various team members - including:

• a friendly CHALET HOUSEKEEPER to maintain our high standards of cleanliness in the chalet, chalet, take control of the laundry and make our guests generally welcome
• a KITCHEN TEAM - CHEF COUPLE who have proven experience of running an efficient, quality kitchen and would thrive on cooking for up to 50 guests each day
• two CHALET HOSTS to take lead responsibility for the serving and hosting of the guests during their time in the lodge
• two personable DRIVER/SKI HOSTS for airport and local resort transfers, ski hosting guests on the mountain and some bar work
• a KITCHEN ASSISTANT to work with the chefs to prepare meals and maintain the kitchen – previous kitchen experience is desirable for this role
• a SKI TECH/BAR PERSON who has good ski and board knowledge, is comfortable with a screwdriver and happy to share relaxed evenings with guests in the bar
