Hosting Couple – Pre-Fleuri – sleeps 12-14
We have an opening for the Winter 2007/08 Ski Season,
based in our Pre-Fleuri chalet,
sleeping 12-14. The chalet is located in the small village of St
Jean de Sixt, near the ski resorts of Grand Bornand and La Clusaz.
With over 220km of pistes the resorts are popular with our returning
British guests, but are still predominantly French, meaning you won’t
be based in a ‘mini-Britain’ as you are in some of the bigger
resorts.
All our staff need to be efficient, flexible and conscientious in their
approach to work. To get the most out of a ski season you'll need to
be prepared to work hard, be energetic and love working with people.
The ski season is a fantastic way to spend the winter and although the
hours can be demanding and long, your rewards include plenty of time
on the mountain side, meeting lots of new people and our great benefits
package.
The General Benefits Package includes:-
- Accommodation: every team member will have
comfortable, mostly ensuite and individual accommodation
- Lift Pass: full Aravis Region Season lift
pass, which includes inter-resort ski bus travel and free day of skiing
in 3 other Haute-Savoie resorts
- Food: breakfasts, lunches and dinner will
be provided when working

In addition, we offer the following benefits:
- Travel to/from France: minibus transfer from/to London, or

- Other benefits: such as discounted attractions / free
ski lessons etc.
We would require our hosting couple, or two friends, to have a good
eye for detail and list cleanliness and tidiness as strong points. You
will be a main point of contact for guests, so you must be able to build
good relationships with the customers and assist them in all aspects
of their skiing holiday.

chalet. Your job will include all housekeeping duties and ensuring your
guests are well cared for throughout their stay. You will be responsible

each other in your work so that you run your chalet efficiently and
professionally. As a team, you must ensure that guests are comfortable
and enjoying a high standard of personal service
You can generally expect to work a long morning, followed by the afternoon
off, before returning to your chalet hosting duties for the evening.
A full day off is taken mid week. You will receive 125€ a week each.
Your accommodation will be a solely for your use and consists of a comfortable
and spacious apartment close to the chalet with a large balcony, a well
equipped kitchen and full furnishings. You will also have use of a vehicle.
