Ski Weekender – short but sweet!
Due to the growing demand for short breaks we are again featuring our range of 3 and 4 day ski trips ideal for those with limited time. So if you can’t find a babysitter for a full week, but can come for 3 or 4 days then this is the perfect option. See our dedicated short break website at www.skiweekender.com

Our Ski Weekender packages run from Thursday evening to Monday evening, so you only need to take 2 days off work for 4 full days of skiing. Ski Midweekers run from Monday evening to Thursday evening and can offer great value with return flights available for just £45.

Our packages ensure ultimate convenience – including transfers, catered chalet accommodation, full region lift pass and the services of our Ski Team in resort - and we are just an hour from Geneva airport!

Our packages run throughout the season and are available any time. Check out www.skiweekender.com for dedicated information on short breaks, including photos, packages, the lodge and much more.

Early Booking Discount extended, save up to £20 per person!
As well as getting the cheapest flights - here’s another reason to book early. We’ve extended our early booking discount so if you book your ski trip before the end of September you will receive £20pp off the price of a week long trip or £10pp off a short break.

Christmas & New Year – make it memorable!

What better way to celebrate Christmas and New Year than with a fantastic, festive and snowy break in the beautiful mountains of the Aravis.

For Christmas you can enjoy a traditional Roast Turkey Dinner, soak up the warm family atmosphere at the chalet and join us for a unique guided snowshoe walk with amazing views and warming vin chaud.
New Years Eve is always popular with our legendary Black Tie and Fancy Frock New Year's Eve party and fireworks display, followed by fancy dress skiing the morning after!

Global Quickies

Can a building really ski?
Not only do the Scientists on the British Antarctic Survey like to ski, soon their Antarctic base will be skiing too! Their new base will be built on skis so that it can be easily moved around. The current base is situated on the floating Brunt Ice Shelf, which drifts 400 metres per year towards the ocean. The base is already so far out to sea it risks being calved off the shelf onto an iceberg unless it is dismantled soon.

The new base will be made up of a series of small buildings, each supported by six mechanical legs on skis. The skis will have retractable crampons, which will anchor the station to the ground when stationary. When it is due to be moved the crampons will be loosened and the entire station will be pulled along the ice by bulldozers!
