Ski Weekender breaks are always available for individuals, couples or groups and appeal to a range of guests – parents who want an extra few days skiing without the kids, groups of friends meeting up for an active weekend, professionals who can’t spare much time off work or parents and kids of all ages who want to learn to ski and feel a weekend is enough to try it.

Karibuni continue to work on their ‘can do’ approach, meaning that guests are able to make full use of every minute of their time away. As soon as they arrive they will be fitted out with skis in the on-site fully equipped ski room, even as they enjoy a drink from the Aravis Lodge bar. Their lift passes, included in the price of the weekend, are ready for them that evening too. Consequently they are ready to take advantage of the mini-bus shuttles to the slopes to catch the first lift of the day on the Friday morning and ski all day. The Karibuni ski team are always on hand to offer ski hosting around the 220km of pistes in the resorts of La Clusaz and Grand Bornand so guests won’t have to waste a moment studying their piste maps.

The Aravis Lodge is a great place to enjoy a fun weekend away. With full chalet service, 3-course dinners with wine and a well stocked bar, large cosy lounge, gym, sports massages and TV/DVD room – what more could you need for a relaxing weekend? The atmosphere is genial and the size of the lodge, sleeping up to 40 people, means there are always others keen to take part in sociable events, such as watching the 6 Nations rugby in the bar, snow shoe walks or the moonlight sledging.
