Karibuni - the UK and Alpine adventure and activity specialists based in the Aravis region of France - are basking in the summer sunshine but counting down the days until the white stuff abounds again.

Ski and snowboard bookings are starting to be taken for the forthcoming ski season, coinciding with the newly announced winter flight timetables from all budget airlines. In order for Karibuni’s guests to capitalise on the good deals for winter flights that can be found at this time of year, they are offering an Early Booking discount on all ski holidays booked before the end of September.

There is a choice of accommodation – the traditional favourite Aravis Lodge chalet, sleeping up to 40 people, various foot-of-the-slopes hotels and several comfortable self-catered chalets too.

The Aravis Lodge is fully catered with a hearty breakfast, homemade cakes for tea and a 3-course dinner with a choice of red or white wine. It also has an in-house ski hire and boot room, a convivial bar, cosy lounge, TV/DVD room, games room and large sun terrace with beautiful views over the Aravis mountain range. The hotels offered are comfortable with traditional French décor, all with ensuite rooms, a well stocked bar and a boot room to store your skis. The self-catering apartments vary in size depending on the number of rooms guests require, and all have well equipped kitchens, are close to inter-resort transport and many have balconies too.

Karibuni is based in the village of St Jean de Sixt, just 2km from the resorts of Le Grand Bornand and La Clusaz and only an hour from Geneva airport. Together the resorts offer over 220 kilometres of runs, ranging from nursery slopes to challenging reds and blacks. It is also one of the most celebrated areas for cross-country skiing, having produced several local Olympic medal winners in the 2006 winter Olympics in Turin.

All prices include transfers to and from Geneva airport and the Aravis region lift pass as well as the service of the Karibuni ski team in resort who host regular mountain orientation ski sessions and are always on hand to answer any queries you may have.

Normal prices are from as little as £520pp for a week, £390pp for a 4-day weekend break and £280pp for a 3-day midweek break.

Savings for those booking and paying their deposit by the end of September will be £20 per person for guests wishing to stay for a week, or £10 per person for weekend and midweek breaks. This discount applies in addition to our standard kids and group discounts.
