Les Carroz
A much smaller town than neighbouring Samoens, Les Carroz used
to be a small farming village until it was linked to the Grand Massif ski
resort in in the early 1980’s. Now offering over 265km of skiing directly
accessible from the Les Carroz main village telecabine, this is a charming
small ski village in which to stay. The village itself is based around a small
village square and church, like so many of the traditional villages are. For a
small town there is quite a bit going on during the winter season, although
those looking for a party atmosphere and good nightlife will be disappointed!

Ideal for families and small groups Les Carroz is a great base to explore the Grand Massif ski area which includes the villages and pistes of Flaine, Samoens, Morillion and Sixts as well as Les Carroz.
