We can organise a range of self catered apartments in either
La Clusaz or Le Grand Bornand in the
Aravis Mountains – just 5km apart but offering skiing in both resorts due to
handy ski buses.
The Villages of La Clusaz and Le Grand Bornand
Both villages are built in the beautiful traditional manner using stone and wood, and are very authentic, friendly ski resorts, dating back to the early 1900’s.
Not largely known by the English, the prices are still very reasonable compared to other ski resorts in France. There are plenty of restaurants and bars in the villages as well as small supermarkets, bakeries, tobacconists, pharmacies, doctors and green grocers – ideal for a self-catered ski holiday.
Although they are so close to each other and provide skiing in both places, the villages have a slightly different feel to them. Grand Bornand is a smaller family resort ideal for families, couples and quieter groups. La Clusaz is a bit bigger and offers more lively nightlife in the bars, so may be better suited to older families and groups.

We can offer you an accommodation-only ski trip in either village or we can include airport transfers to/from Geneva airport and full area ski lift passes in your package – just let us know what you would like to do when booking.
We have a range of accommodation from a luxury converted farmhouse sleeping 12 in Grand Bornand which is located immediately next to the bus station for the 2 minute ride to the lifts, to the practical but spacious foot-of-the-slopes Aravis Apartments in Grand Bornand sleeping anywhere between 2 and 10 people. We also have a lovely apartment near the Balme sector in La Clusaz – ideal for off-piste skiing fans and several apartments in St Jean de Sixt allowing easy access to the slopes of either Grand Bornand or La Clusaz; as well as a lot of things in between!
