The Aravis Region
The Aravis range of mountains in the Haute Savoie area of France runs North-South stretching from Cluses in the South to just north of Ugine in the North. The highest peak on the chain is Pointe Percee at 2752metres.
The Aravis Massif is made up of two ski resorts - Le Grand Bornand and La Clusaz. Just 5 km apart it is easy to ski in both resorts during your stay in the Aravis region. The highest skiable peak of Grand Bornand is Mont Lachat de Chatillion at 2100m and the highest point of La Clusaz is Col de Balme at 2616m.
