Equipment Hire - skis, boots, boards etc.
Once again this season we are bringing the hire shop to you - select your gear from our in-house rental shop and take advantage of the discounts offered
exclusively to Karibuni Weeklong and Ski Weekender catered chalet customers.
We can arrange all your hire equipment on the night of your arrival.
We have a comprehensive range of skis, boards, boots, poles and helmets available for all abilities so there's something to suit everyone - from absolute beginners to advanced skiers.
All the equipment is very well maintained and mostly 2007 range - with great value for some quality skis and boards. You are able to change, upgrade or swap your gear throughout the week, so there is no issue with hiring skis, but swapping to a board or blades for 2 days etc.
Plus you'll benefit from discounted rates on our ski rental, with prices for skis and boots starting from around £7 a day!
For the 2007/08 season we will have the following ski equipment available for hire:
Beginner or 'Green level' range
- Head C200 - Great learner, stable and easy-going piste skis
- Rossignol Axium - Suitable for beginner/improver ladies and lighter weight learners
Intermediate or 'Red level' range
- Ladies: Dynastar 8 Exclusive Ladies - Special ladies' design, responsive, good beginner 'carvers'
- Gents: Rossignol Zenith Z3 or Z5 - Flexible all-mountain skis - good on a variety of terrain at medium speeds
Advanced 'Black level' range
- Ladies: K2 T9 Sweet Luv Ladies - Light, confidence building, fast carving skis for ladies
- Gents: Rossignol Bandit B2 and B3 - Good all round advanced skis, great both on and off piste
- Salomon Street Racer 8 - Speedy piste skis for large carving turns on piste
- Salomon 1080 Foil Twintips - Backcountry skis rather than park, but versatile and fun on piste too
It is not essential to book in advance, but if you do know what you will require, or if you have particularly large feet then please let us know and we can put the right pair of skis and boots aside for you.

For those of you who know exactly what you want, or fancy trying a specific pair of twintips, floaty powder skis or a big freeride board, we can normally arrange something to meet your needs at St. Jean Sport, our friendly local ski shop located 2 minutes walk from the Lodge.
