Ski Team
Our team are crucial to our success and your holiday! Consequently we go out of our way to ensure that every member of our team is friendly, outgoing and confident in ensuring your every need is met.
You can be assured of a friendly and professional service which goes far beyond that normally offered by the large skiing operators.
Your dedicated Karibuni Ski Team will take all the hassles away from the trip. Far more than just company reps, they will be there to look after every aspect of your time with us - nothing is too much trouble and they are always on hand to help you relax and unwind in the great setting - after all you're on holiday!
During the day they could be showing you the best ski runs, or the best cafés for a "vin chaud" and will be there to meet you at the end of the day in the mini-buses to transfer you back to your base. And during the evening you'll probably find them in the bar wanting to know about your day, enjoy a relaxed drink and swap skiing stories!

Jess
Jess enjoys skiing with guests in both resorts, but beware as her favourite place on the slopes are the various Boarder Cross courses! Not as brave as she sounds she enjoys skiing cruisy reds and blues and stopping to enjoy a beer with a good view - she will happily show you the best bars and restaurants on the mountain.
John & Jacqui
Our husband and wife Chef team came to skiing late but suprised themselves how quickly they picked it up! They are both looking forward to progressing quickly next season and when out on the slopes don't be surprised see Jacqui whizzing about whilst John may be encouraging you to join him on the terrace of a nearby cafe!
Jack & Sheila
Jack and Sheila are real fans of the Aravis region. Keen walkers, they enjoy the countryside around the village as well as the odd trip to Annecy and the surrounding area. You will certainly meet them at dinner and they are always around to give some good advice or just have a friendly chat! Stalwarts of the Lodge we couldn't exist without them.
Paul
Paul is an experienced snowboarder who can be found out on good powder days playing in La Balme or attempting to jump off anything resembling a slight kicker! He also enjoys swapping his board for a pair of skis whenever he gets the chance to take guests out guiding in both resorts. A fan of a cheeky beer of an evening he is always around the lodge for a chat in the evenings.
Tom
Tom joined us at the beginning of the 06/07 winter season and is the person you'll speak to or email about booking a trip with us. After his first outing on a snowboard last season, Tom came on leaps and bounds and was tackling the blacks in no time. Now he can't wait for the snow to return to test out his new toys.
Alex
Another geography graduate who brings a love of the outdoors and mountains to France. Alex has recently returned from touring South America and working in a number of eco-lodges set in remote and stunning areas of jungle. Alex has skied in the Aravis region many times and will be keen to show you around the resort with his ski hosting. Alex will also be one of the faces to look out for at Geneva with his minibus.
Fergal
Although coming to the sport quite late, Fergal is a very keen skier and spent many weeks of last season in Chamonix. Fergal joins us from a financial background in Ireland so is relishing the chance to swap the office for the great outdoors – and to be taking people skiing to find those fantastic runs and any powder stashes. Fergal will also be welcoming you at Geneva.
Lindsey
Lindsey is returning for her second season with us at the Aravis Lodge and is looking to further improve on her skiing from last year when she first ventured out onto the snow. Following a summer season in Portugal trying to avoid the time-share business she is keen to be packing her warm winter clothes once again, and will be a familiar face around the Aravis Lodge.
Sarah
Together with Kate, Sarah has been enjoying a new lease of life and traveling around Europe and South America. This comes on the back of a cooking career that has seen Sarah working as a chef in cafes, restaurants and pubs – as well as running her own function catering business. Her skills in the kitchen will prove invaluable and she is relishing the challenge of offering a superb quality of food for all of the Chalet Pre Fleuri guests this season.
Nicole
Nicole will be joining Lindsey in the Aravis Lodge and will be one of the chalet hosts working hard to ensure that our chalet is the perfect home from home for all guests. A very bubbly Australian, Nicole will be bringing her experience of a 5-star resort back home and amongst other things - ensuring that the wine carafes never run out!
James
This is James’s first ski season. After taking up snowboarding last year James has boarded in the Canadian Rockies, the Pyrenees and now the Alps . He is looking forward to showing you around the Aravis resorts. Learning to ski is also on the to-do list.
Kate
Our chalet Pre Fleuri will benefit from Kate’s experience of working in the service sector and she joins us as the friendly and welcoming host to ensure Chalet Pre Fleuri is where you want to be after a hard days skiing. Kate is looking forward to swapping the hills of the North East for the mountains of France, and is also coming fresh on the heals of a South American trip taking in Cuba.
Louise
Louise is a keen snowboarder who’s delighted to be swapping her life in Rugby for the mountains of Les Aravis. A qualified gym and swimming instructor, Louise is very sporty and excited about spending the winter on the slopes. You’ll see her driving you around resort, around the chalet and hosting as well – and maybe downstairs in the gym as old habits die hard.If you are interested in working for Karibuni then please feel free to forward a CV and covering letter to paul@karibuni.co.uk.
