Ski Team
Our team are crucial to our success and your holiday! Consequently we go out of our way to ensure that every member of our team is friendly, outgoing and confident in ensuring your every need is met.
You can be assured of a friendly and professional service which goes far beyond that normally offered by the large skiing operators.
Your dedicated Karibuni Ski Team will take all the hassles away from the trip. Far more than just company reps, they will be there to look after every aspect of your time with us - nothing is too much trouble and they are always on hand to help you relax and unwind in the great setting - after all you're on holiday!
During the day they could be showing you the best ski runs, or the best cafés for a "vin chaud" and will be there to meet you at the end of the day in the mini-buses to transfer you back to your base. And during the evening you'll probably find them in the bar wanting to know about your day, enjoy a relaxed drink and swap skiing stories!

Paul
Paul, Karibuni's founder, is an experienced snowboarder who can be found out on good powder days playing in La Balme or attempting to jump off anything resembling a slight kicker! He also enjoys swapping his board for a pair of skis whenever he gets the chance to take guests out guiding in both resorts. A fan of a cheeky beer of an evening he is always around the lodge for a chat after dinner.
Jess
Jess enjoys skiing with guests in both resorts, but beware as her favourite place on the slopes are the various Boarder Cross courses! Not as brave as she sounds she enjoys skiing cruisy reds and blues (although ocassionally scaring herself by playing out with the boys in the powder) and stopping to enjoy a beer with a good view - she can show you the best restaurants on the mountain.
Tom
Tom is the person you'll speak to or email about booking your ski holiday with us. When he manages to escape the office, Tom is a keen snowboarder who enjoys getting out and about off piste to show off his latest toys and gadgets. He's also our resident weather man - if you need to know the forecast ask Tom - scarily he's normally right!

James
James is a keen snowboarder, although learning to ski is also on his to-do list. A fan of the snowpark his jumps and tricks are coming on nicely. You'll spot James on the mountain as he's also a keen amateur filmmaker so is normally seen capturing jumps and subsequent crashes on film! He will also be found organising your ski or board lessons.
Jack & Sheila
Jack and Sheila are real fans of the Aravis region. Keen walkers, they enjoy the countryside around the village as well as the odd trip to Annecy and the surrounding area. You will certainly meet them at dinner and they are always around to give some good advice or just have a friendly chat! Stalwarts of the Lodge we couldn't exist without them.
John & Jacqui
Our husband and wife Chef team came to skiing late but suprised themselves how quickly they picked it up! They are both looking forward to progressing further around the resorts and skiing even faster next season. When out on the slopes don't be surprised see Jacqui whizzing about whilst John may be encouraging you to join him on the terrace of a nearby cafe!
Rich
Rich is an experienced skier who will be taking you out on the ski hosting as well as being one of the first faces you will see when you arrive at Geneva. He is moving away from his previous background in management consulting to pursue some ski time before training to become a teacher.
George
George is an avid traveller and has spent a good deal of time in India including visiting the Himalayas. He is looking forward to getting back into the mountains on either his skis or snowboard and offering you the chance to join him on the ski hosting. George is also a keen juggler.
Niamh
Niamh's friendly face will be around the Aravis Lodge as she ensures everything is just so. Her previous French working experience was in a creperie so we're expecting a sweet tooth when it comes to afternoon tea. You can join Niamh for evening sledging or snowshoe walks.
Hatty
Hatty is coming to Karibuni from a career in the London fashion scene. Used to dressing catwalk models Hatty will make sure you all look fabulous and haven't forgotten your gloves in the morning! Her warm welcome and lively personality will certainly make your holiday pass with a smile.
Charlie
Your skis and boards will be quicker than ever thanks to Charlie! A qualified ski technician he will ensure all your hire equipment needs are well met. He will also be found behind the bar in the evening and is looking forward to swapping some outdoor activity and skiing tales with you all.
Jimmy & Nicky
Jimmy & Nicky have spent the summer working on luxury yachts in the Med and are now relishing the chance to be based on dry land and back in the mountains. A friendly kiwi couple they have a love of the outdoors and will be assisting you at meal times and whenever you are back an in the Lodge. If you are interested in working for Karibuni then please feel free to forward a CV and covering letter to paul@karibuni.co.uk.
