King George Day (formerly known as Diamond Day) - Saturday 26th July

Our King George Day (formerly known as Diamond Day) at Ascot package is a great opportunity to see some of the best races run at Ascot over the summer, in a less formal setting than Royal Ascot. Attracting some serious race goers and with all guests watching the racing from the Grandstand area, this is a perfect day for a Corporate day out - either with guests or as a reward for high performance. Of course anyone can come and enjoy King George Day with us!

THE ITINERARY

Coaches will depart at 10am from Hammersmith (opposite the Tube Station). We arrive at Ascot Racecourse mid- morning where we will open bottles of bubbly and start to enjoy the festivities.

Our coach park and picnic site is spacious, allowing plenty of room for relaxing in the sun with your bubbly whilst studying the form and picking your winners. It is also just a couple of minutes walk from the Grandstand, which adds to your convenience.

Your lunch will be freshly prepared using quality ingredients and will feature a variety of luxury deli-rolls and a choice of mixed salads, plus strawberries and cream. This is accompanied by plenty of red or white wine and soft drinks which you can enjoy before making your way into the Grandstand to watch the day's racing.

The last race is at 5:30pm after which we ask you to return to the coaches promptly so that we can depart at around 6pm for the journey back to London - arriving back around 7:30pm.

THE GRANDSTAND

Your package includes entrance to the Grandstand Enclosure which has been redeveloped and rebuilt recently. This will provide a great location from which to watch the racing action and has a good view of the home straight and the starting ring. You can get right up to the rail to watch the horses close up, or enjoy the new stand and its facilities, including plenty of bars, eateries and betting opportunities.
