Self-Guide - Lake District Multi-Activity Weekend

Explore the beautiful Lake District countryside whilst enjoying a range of exciting activities. Choose 3 activities from the list available below, we will book them for you and send you maps and instructions leaving you to simply enjoy your weekend!



ACTIVITIES AVAILABLE

Canoeing/rowing boats - explore the lakes from the water in peaceful safe surroundings

Climbing - learn the ropes at this extensive climbing wall with full instruction

Mountain biking - explore the forest with many kinds of trails for all levels, including the new North Face trail

Ghyl scrambling - make your way down a tumbling river/stream, jumping, sliding always laughing!

Horse riding - head into the hills on a guided trek suitable for all levels of rider

Sailing/windsurfing lesson - under the watchful eye of your instructor learn to sail on the lakes

Raft building - work as a team to build your craft before making its maiden voyage on the lake

Ropes course - a thrilling course slung between large trees. Explore the forest canopy, zip lines, trapezes etc.

Friday
1900 Arrive at destination - drinks and dinner at pub
2300 Settle into bunkhouse/hostel

Saturday
0830 Cooked breakfast
1000 Activity session 1
1300 Lunch in village pub
1400 Activity session 2
1800 Back to bunkhouse/hostel for a few beers
1900 Dinner at bunkhouse/pub, evening out/open fire night

Sunday

1230 Sunday lunch at pub and then depart for home

Requirements

Activities do not require any previous experience and are suitable for all. We regularly have complete beginners for horse riding, biking etc.

A general level of fitness helps but again is suitable for all.
